He whirled around and strode out of the office. Corey Nolan sat at a bar table in the back, wrapped in a blanket. With each footstep he took, tension rose along his spine.

He couldn’t deny it any longer. Something was going on here. He watched as her body shook, fingers trembling as she clutched the blanket around her tighter.
